Martha Sanchez-Lowery was born in La Paz, Bolivia. Her poem “The Dark Earth Call” was set to dance by Jane Franklin Dance Company. Her poetry appears in in Gargoyle, Beltway, and Knocking on the Door of the White House.  She has appeared at the Library of Congress and on The Poet & The Poem. She produced the Poetry Alive at IOTA – 20th Anniversary CD.
