Carl Gopalkrishnan’s (aka Gopal) art practice uses cultural, spiritual & technological artifacts to understand the human condition. In recent years, his paintings have garnered international recognition for their ability to forge meaningful connections between art, literature, science, faith & conflict. He works across acrylic painting, drawing & printmaking. Carl is also a writer and essayist. UK-born Carl lives in Perth, Western Australia where he works as a diversity policy advisor and community advocate.
